With a passion for nurturing and supporting families, I bring a unique blend of professional nursing experience and compassionate doula care to every family I will serve. Before becoming a Registered Nurse, I worked as a doula with Doulas of CNY previously. I educated women about their choices and supported them and their families during their most precious life-changing event. I allowed education as a doula to help me be a better nurse throughout my career. As a registered nurse, I gained a lot of valuable experience working in the Med-Surg, Pediatrics, and Maternity departments, allowing me to care for patients and families through many stages of life. My background will give me the ability to provide both comforting support and knowledgeable guidance throughout your birthing journey. Beyond my professional experience, I am also a devoted wife, mother and proud grandmother who understands firsthand the joys, challenges, and emotions that come with welcoming a child into the world. I believe every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered during pregnancy and birth. My approach combines calm reassurance, compassionate care, and evidence-based support to help families feel confident, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Whether supporting you as first-time parents or a growing family, I will be dedicated to creating you a positive, personalized, and comforting birth. If you are planning a home birth, I will also support and work with the midwife you are using for your care.
