OUR CLASSES ~

Child Birth Education:
We offer Childbirth Prep classes in a fun, interactive way, to educate and empower both moms and their partners.
Two week sessions at convenient locale or private class available.

Class Description: Getting partner involved, we go over, third trimester discomforts, How will you know when you are in labor? Bumps in the road, Meds, Interventions, Staying flexible, coping with labor, techniques for partner and Postpartum.

Child Birth Education: For home birthers! Specially designed for anyone delivering their baby at home, this class is done in the privacy of your own home.

Guided Relaxation:
Offered either as 3rd week of Childbirth Prep class or private class available.
1 hour. Prepares mom for a more deep relaxation in labor.

Refresher Childbirth Ed: This is a special 1 1/2 hr class for you if you are having your precious 2nd child or even 3rd! Special labor tips and techniques for experienced moms and dads!

Newborn Care Class:
No time to go to a local class?
View our very thorough newborn care video. You will be glad you did!

Sibling Class:
Offered in one session, 1 1/2 hours, in your home, to prepare your child/ren for the new arrival of their brother or sister. Our unique program will explore the changes that your child can experience in the family . . . happy feelings as well as apprehensive ones and give them an opportunity to talk about their worries. Gentle touch, ideas for siblings to participate and ways that their lives will change will also be taught by stories, coloring and a special craft especially for them.

In preparation for attending the birth:

Sibling Class: Offered in 1 hour session, in your home, to prepare your child/ren for attending the birth. An appropriate video will be shown and a discussion about the sights and sounds that they will hear during the birth, what mommy might need from the child, in a supportive environment.

NEW in 2010! Breastfeeding Basic Class: Taught in convenient location, we offer a daytime class and an evening class as options. Breastfeeding basics for mom and partner too! Benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby, getting started, signs of hunger, proper latch, positioning and common concerns. pecific concerns . Includes a postpartum consultation in your home as follow-up. $45.

Happiest Baby Block: Learn an extraordinary approach to calm your baby in our Happiest Baby Class. New parents will learn step-by-step how to help babies sleep longer and how to soothe even the fussiest infant in minutes…! Class includes DVD and soothing sounds CD! $55
